Compact polyfactor therapeutic apparatus based on the modern elemental base of semiconductor lasers

«SNUG» is a compact polyfactor therapeutic apparatus based on the modern elemental base of semiconductor lasers having no analogs in the efficiency of treating diseases with a deep localization of the center of a disease process and in stopping algesic syndromes of various etiologies.

Owing to increased power density of acting radiation (500 mW) its intensity of radiation corresponds to the optimum (80–100 mW/cm²) for an initiating the photobiological reactions rendering favorable action on the activity of the most important metabolic enzymes, protein synthesis rate, DNA, RNA, cell division, tissue regeneration, blood microcirculation, immunity system activity, at localization of the pathological center on depth up to 2–4 cm.

The opportunity to use the lightguide instrument for delivery of high power density radiation at zone of lesion focus as well as at thin tooth channels for their sterilization has been foreseen in apparatus «SNUG». It is necessary mention efficiency of using the lightguide instrument (guarantee of optimal power density) working on large areas of affection seats.

The apparatus is reliable and easy to operate; it does not require special grounding. The apparatus has a built – in timer providing the switching-off of the laser on completion of the previous procedure of laser therapy. The correspondence of the radiation power at the apparatus output to the required value is checked and verified by the display system.
