Is developed within the framework of the innovative project

One of the apparatus advantages is a use of well-known in medical practice physical medical factors: not damaging regulator influence of the low-intensive EHF-radiation of millimeter range of wavelengths in combination with laser radiation of «red» and near infrared spectral regions, radiation of polarized LED light source of «violet» spectral region and weak magnetic field on person’s organism (on somatic cell of person’s organism).

The following factors are used as medical factors in phototherapeutic apparatus «Ekstrasens»:
•• low-intensive EHF-radiation with wavelengths 7,1 mm; 5,6 mm; 4,9 mm;
•• low-intensive laser radiation of «red» spectral region (radiation wave-length λ = 670 nm);
•• low-intensive laser radiation of near infrared spectral region (radiation wavelength λ = 810 nm);
•• polarized radiation of superbright LED source of «violet» spectral re-gion (λ = 410 nm);
•• constant magnetic field (magnetic field induction – 50 mT).


The apparatus provides an opportunity to carry out medical procedures with the use of power densities of EHF-radiation in range from 5 mW/cm2 to 10 mW/cm2.

Maximum value of medium radiation power of semiconductor laser which generates radiation in continuous mode in infrared spectral region on magnetic-optical module output is 500±75 mW.

Maximum value of medium radiation power of semiconductor laser which generates radiation in continuous mode in «red» spectral region on module output is 500±75 mW.

Medium radiation power of LED source with wavelength 410 nm is not less than 500±75 mW on module output in continuous working mode.


The apparatus provides discrete change of medium laser and LED radiation from the series: 10; 30; 50; 60; 70; 80; 90; 100 % of maximum value. The range of admissible relative error of setting of laser radiation power is ±15%.

The microprocessor-based system of apparatus control provides an opportunity to set and control parameters of influencing radiation from apparatus control panel.

Indication system provides the information:
• about parameters of influencing radiation (radiation power density; duration of estimated influence);
• about readiness of radiation sources for work;
• about radiation on LED laser EHF-module output.

The apparatus has special purpose chime to indicate the necessity of keeping security measures conditioned on intensive optical radiation.
