Diagnostic apparatus “ANKUB Spectr”

Is developed within the framework of the innovative project

Diagnostic apparatus «ANKUB Spectr» is intended for noninvasive detection of bilirubin and for treatment monitoring of any kind of jaundice for newborn; for early noninvasive detection of diseased with isolation jaundice in quarantine groups (in army, in kindergarten etc.); for noninvasive clinical inspection of inhabitants in adverse isolation hepatitis areas; for postclinical noninvasive inspection of patients with liver diseases; for use in ambulance work.

Apparatus «ANKUB Spectr» is a superimposed spectrophotometer in which method of multiwave spectral reflection is used.

The apparatus allows to measure logistic difference of coefficient of reflection of light in four narrow spectral regions which allows to define optical densities corresponding to bilirubin, hemoglobin and melanin in dermis tis-sue of child.
